At NexKitch, we get it plans evolve. Life happens, budgets shift, and sometimes, you simply need to pause or change course. That’s why we’ve created a clear, fair return and cancellation policy to help guide you through the process confidently. Our promise? To treat every situation with transparency, respect, and zero runaround.

⏳ If You Cancel Before Work Begins

We understand you might need to cancel your project even after signing. If that happens, here’s what you can expect:

  • Cancel within 48 hours of signing (before any materials are ordered), and you may qualify for a full refund, minus any third-party processing fees.
  • If materials have already been ordered, but installation hasn’t started yet, a restocking fee (up to 25%) may be deducted. This depends on the vendor’s return policy and material type.

💡 Tip: Custom orders like cabinetry, countertops, or unique finishes are often non-returnable once processed, so be sure of selections before final confirmation.

🚧 If You Cancel After Work Has Started

If your kitchen remodel is already underway and you choose to cancel, we’ll do everything we can to minimize your costs while staying fair to the work already completed:

  • Any labor already performed or installed products are non-refundable.
  • Unused and unopened materials may qualify for a partial refund, provided they’re in original condition, with packaging intact, and accepted by the supplier.

We’ll walk you through every item and cost so you’re never left in the dark.

📦 Product & Material Returns

Most of our kitchen materials like cabinets, tile, stone slabs, and fixtures are either custom-fabricated or special-ordered. This means they’re made specifically for your home.

✅ Returns are only accepted in these cases:

  • Items arrive damaged, defective, or broken
  • The wrong product was delivered due to a NexKitch internal error

📍 To be eligible, these issues must be reported within 5 days of delivery, and items must remain unused, uninstalled, and in the original packaging. If eligible, we’ll coordinate the return with the vendor and keep you updated on next steps.

💳 Refund Timeline

Once a refund is approved, we’ll initiate the return process right away. Most refunds are completed within 7–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once processing is complete

We aim for speed, but sometimes bank processing may vary slightly if there’s a delay, we’re happy to help track it down.

❌ What’s Not Refundable?

Some costs, by their nature, can’t be recovered. These include:

  • Custom or made-to-order products (cabinets, countertops, etc.)
  • Fees already paid to municipalities (like permits or inspections)
  • Labor already performed or services rendered (like demolition or electrical)
  • Completed deliveries, haul-ways, or dump runs
  • Separate design consultations or 3D rendering services

We’ll always be upfront about what’s non-refundable before any commitment is made, so there are no surprises.
